Moksha cashmere products are hand-made in Nepal using the finest quality cashmere yarn. Our yarn comes from the underbelly of Himalayan goats (Capra Hircus) that thrive at 14,000 ft abovesea level. It takes a minimum of three goats to produce enough yarn to create a single shawl. Under careful care this cashmere product will become softer and softer with usage. We use a carefully chosen range of chemical-free dyes (e.g. Sandoz and Ciba) and because our yarns/fibers come to our base in Nepal from Mongolia, we minimize our carbon footprint. You can be sure that the environmental impact of your purchase is minimal. We are committed to quality at every stage. We keep our impact on the environment to a minimum, we provide a healthy and safe working environment for our staffs, we value good relationships with our customers, and we do everything we can to keep our prices competitive without compromising on quality. We believe this shows in the service we offer, and the customers who come back to us, year after year.
